Re: Multi-column bookmarks - Roll your own. Firefox bookmarks are just
a page. Copy it and make it several columns.

All those extensions and I still can't find the one I would really
like to see someone write: Multi-Column Bookmarks. I hate having to
wait while the bookmarks menu s-l-o-w-l-y scrolls down.

Click the bookmark button on the toolbar instead of using the menu;
it's much faster that way.

I installed Firefox yesterday to force myself to switch from Maxthon,
but gave up in frustration when I couldn't get the Tabs Preferences
extension to work with my Intellimouse Explorer. Also tried an
alternative (forget the name) but it wouldn't work either.

After several hours of Googling and frustration, I've given up and
will just stick with Maxthon.

I'll check it out.
I'm looking for a way to run Firefox with image loading OFF, but to be
able to right-click and bring up specific images on pages.
Had this capability with IE, Avant, and older Netscapes.
Or have I just overlooked a Firefox setting?

Have you tried TabMix?

Not sure which specific posts you refer me to, but I did search the
forum and Google for all relevant posts and came across someone who
convinced me that my quest was futile. TabMix was the second extension
I tried and it didn't work either.

I have intellipoint 5.2 driver installed on a Win2k system, using a MS
Intellmouse Explorer on a PS/2 port. The driver lists Intellimouse
Explorer 4.0 which incorporates a tilt wheel, but mine is an older
design, without the wheel (P/N X04-91789).

If anyone has gotten such a mouse to work with FF in Win2k, I'd be
interested to know their secret. Maybe I'll re-install FF and look for
a solution on the forum. Thanks for your suggestions.

PS - I purposely use a non-standard sig because when people hit
"reply," the address instructions usually get trimmed in the reader's
e-mail client and the bounced e-mails give no clue why they bounced.

Hi Larry,

No specific post. I should have said the "search" posts on
either forum (or both). There are quite few which talk (bitch)
problems apparently similar to yours.

Wow - a dream came through! Thank you very much.

BTW, is it uninstallable? I'm still on 0.8 (a long story) which
is not listed on "copied from ImageShowHide."

I've had occasion to uninstall and reinstall it on Firefox 1.0 with no
problem. Can't say about 0.8, since ImageLoader did not exist before I
upgraded to 1.0.
