I was wondering what are the best extensions to install for firefox. I
would look thorugh then all but I simply don't have the time. Which
ones do you think are the most useful. Thank you for your input.

I would tell you, but I simply don't have the time.

I am fond of googlebar, StockTicker, and SecurePasswordGenerator.
There are lots of good ones. It depends on your needs and interests.

If you are a novice to extensions, stick to the most popular and highly
rated ones; also, get MozBackup at http://backup.jasnapaka.com/ - and
run it before installing any extension, so you can get back to where
you were if it crashes your browser. Most moz problems seem to be
caused by extensions.

The obvious response here is to suggest that if you cba to do any of
your own research in the first place, you don't bother to post here
again
Thank You.

Welcome

Using my newly acquired psychic skills, I can tell you that the
extensions that are most useful *to you* are all of them.

I would respond to tell you what an ass you are, but I don't have time.

I tend to lurk here more than I post these days.
There are a lot of 'new' people here now who are definitely not helpful.
In the old days the members here were friendly and caring, and on behalf of
those members I apologise for the comments of the new ones who are here
now.

Definitely AdBlock, so you surf without seeing ads of almost any kind.
It even manages to skip the ad page of www.bluesnews.com which was very
surprising (and welcomed!).

I've uploaded my list to
http://free.prohosting.com/eagleman/userfiles/ExtensionsList.html

It contains all of my extensions, themes & plug-ins. The extensions have
links to their homepages. They can also be found at

I think you'll find the method found here
http://texturizer.net/firefox/adblock.html is more effective.

Actually, I don't... because you can't add content on-the-fly that way.
With AdBlock, if I see something new that isn't blocked, I can merely
right-click it and select "AdBlock" to rid myself of it in future.
Using the method shown above, I'd need to exit Firefox, edit the file,
save the file, and restart Firefox. That's not what I call effective.

Much more importantly, using that method you only hide the images from
being displayed. Using Adblock you can block the images from loading at
all, hence saving bandwidth.
