Firefox bookmarks

If anyone out there has Firefox and is annoyed by the random and sloppy way
the bookmarks are presented using the toolbar (text) bookmarks instead of
the sidebar;
I found this fantastic extension to organize the bookmarks.
Go to http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/sortbookmarks

Just want to thank all the people at this site for helping
me (find soloutions and software) for a long time without
ever asking for anything back.

That link is a general FF extension page. In FF 093, at the link, I double-clicked
"install"- file has moved, right-click and "save link as", - file has moved.

Anyone else see this?

Anyone else here ever have trouble reading "plain English" ? Okay. It
looks like my turn to ask the "dumb question". What does the above
mean ?

I can go to Bookmarks Manager and sort my bookmarks by name, location,
date added etc. etc. If I change the order then the changed order
shows when the sidebar option is checked too. The list is a text list.

What does the above do that isn't already built in to Firefox ? I
guess if I don't understand what the problem is then I am going
to have difficulty understanding the solution. :-(

I always have trouble reading plain English ;)

I think the issue is that the Bookmarks Manager's sorting is a "view" thing
for the sidebar and the Bookmarks Manager itself, and doesn't work on the
Bookmarks menu: you keep seeing it unordered. In addition, those view
options don't put the folders first, and then the single bookmarks, but they
are all mixed, and I would find it pretty annoying.

These are the reasons I like Sort Bookmarks extension :)

BTW, IIRC, awhile ago you mentioned "x", a privacy extentension. I
installed it, see it in the extension screen. But don't see it
anywhere else, can't see it it activate it. Before, I noticed in a
thread that others noted that problem.

Any comment?

Right click toolbar...customize...drag it to your toolbar.

It gives you the option of placing a "Paranoia" button on your
toolbar(s), but it doesn't put the button there by default.
View » Toolbars » Customize, then drag the button to the bar.

I coulda sworn the instructions were given at the download site.
Yep, <http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/clav/#x>. Maybe you picked the
extension up somewhere else and it came without instructions.

Thanks, I got it awhile ago and had lost the link to the page.
