Firefox bookmarks

Is anyone else having trouble managing bookmarks in Firefox? When I open
'manage bookmarks' and move stuff, it shows up in the wrong place, although
the bookmark drop-down menu shows the correct order.

Anybody know a fix?

Try opening the bookmarks folder in a side panel and rearranging them.

A panel that opens on the side. The menu calls it a "side bar."
View->side bar->bookmarks.
