So I finally got me pc running . Hurray Yippiiee . Xp Pro installed Fab Grrreat . FireFox installed No Sweat Coooooooooool . Loads of neat gadgety thingys to play around with I'm In 7th Heaven floating on a cloud .

Whats this an add on (FasterFox) to make pages load a little faster Woooooooohoooooooooo . Lets not be greedy and set it to Optimized .

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 63 secs to load PcReviews page , Hmmmmmmmm that seems slow . 46 secs to load a thread from the forums hmmmmmmmmm . 82 secs to load a pic from a thread (800x600) hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . 1421 secs to load the reply page to a thread and still counting and the reply box is greyed out and I can't type a thing

Mebees I'll try posting using my slow AOL compared to Internet Explorer browser , gossssssssssssh only 32 secs to load the home page , 25 secs to look at a thread and 34 secs to load the reply page (insane laughter) .

So I ask meself is this FireFox any good or is it just a smoke screen thrown up by misguided users theur socks of at the world .

I use firefox and its fine for me, nice and quick.

How fast is your connection?

BB running at about 527/228 if me memory serves me right . Extension , FasterFox, Videodownloader and LittleFox theme . I was trying to download the Halloween theme but it seemed to get stuck and never down loaded . FireFox seemed to work ok for most sites but overall was a little slower than IE or AOL . I'm a little puzzled and sad as it seems a realy neat browser and all you folk have been giving good reports about it in various threads

Have you tried it in safe mode? NOT windows safe mode but firefox safe mode

Start>all programs>mozilla firefox> safe mode.

Tools>options>Privacy>cookies>ticked .allow sites to set cookies >exceptions>allowed pcreview >ticked . allow for the originating site>Keep cookies till . I close FireFox .

Me test run was done as I was trying to log into pcreviw . I had the settings originaly set so that no cookies were allowed to be set at all . When I was trying to log in the site would have been trying to set a cookie and was blocked mebees . not very savy at ticking boxes etc so i can't say for sure . Everything seems to be running fine though and that includes all the , themes and extensions I've added . Only been using FireFox for 2 days so haven't a lot of experience with it . Its realy cool specialy the Halloween theme , makes me laugh .
