In Windows 2000 server sp4, under Services, i found the following services &
are running,

FireDaemon Service: botty
FireDaemon Service: Dll32
FireDaemon Service: events
FireDaemon Service: sqlsrv
FireDaemon Service: sysfile

What are all these services about?

"FireDaemon is a utility that allows you to install and run virtually
any native Win32 application or script (eg. BAT/CMD, Perl, Java,
Python, TCL/TK) as a Windows NT/2K/XP/2K3 service"

Firedaemon is a freeware version along the lines of what the "sc"
command does in the NT Resource Kit. Someone must have used this
utility to install some services on your machine. I have no idea what
these services are.
