Fire Wire Help. Code 42: duplicate device already running i

Hi,

Im trying to use an external hard disk on my windows xp machine through a firewire cable. The device in My Computer doesnt show up.

Device type: SBP2 IEEE 1394 Devices

Error Message:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because there is a duplicate device already running in the system. (Code 42)

Tried Restarting and i have no other firewire devices running on my machine. It connected through my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card's firewire port.

Any advice on this is really appreciated.
