Finding workgroup information

Hello,
I've read in a couple of articles that it is very important to keep the
workgroup set-up information. My question is if there is some place where I
can look for that information. My workgroup has not been lost or corrupted
but I want to be prepared in an event it does.

Nope. Pretty sure you needed to write that down at the time you created the
file. Either de-secure, create another new workgroup file (writing it down
this time), and then resecure with that workgroup or else keep lots of
backups.
