Finding the Lowest Number

I have 1 column of 5 numbers as follows:

A1 - 5
A2 - 10
A3 - 9
A4 - 5
A5 - 12

I want to create a formula that will tell me the LOWEST
value in my column of numbers, HOWEVER IF there is a tie
for the LOWEST number, the formula will indicate by
specifying "TIE". In my example above, I would want my
formula to indicate there was a "TIE" (being that there
are two 5's). The MIN function will work for the lowest
number, however if there is a tie it can not help me.
Does anyone know how I can create a formula to achieve
this ?
