finding text in a cell

This formula works =IF(E10="x",1,"")+IF(E11="x",1,"") to add the two 1's to
make two.

I would like to change the "x" to just finding TEXT

I tried =IF(B15="txt",1,3) but I get the 3 instead of the 1.
