I have replaced a saved document with a blank page in error is there anyway to locate this replaced file in my documents

If you have overwritten a document you are probably out of luck. Only if
you delete a file is it stored in the recycle bin. There are sophisticated
programs on the market that may be able to recover the information from the
hard drive but the more information that is written to the drive the less
likely recovery is. Some programs write a new file and then delete the old
file while others overwrite the physical file during a save. Only the first
type of save can be recovered with that software.

For the future, when I work on a "mission critical" document I always keep
backups in place. I always use the Save As command instead of the save
command. I create the original file and save it. Subsequent saves are made
using the SaveAs command and increment the number at the end of the file by
one each time. When I have my final document I erase all of the previous
copies and rename the final document by removing the numbers. Any more
additions to the document I restart the number process. Has saved me
countless times.

Look in your recycle bin. If it is not there, it's gone.
