Is there a way to figure out the IP address of a networked printer w/o
having to go through all the printer menus and spit it out onto paper?
(ie from my computer) if it helps i think it is a HP 4100N.

Cheers

some of those hp's print it out on the test sheet when it is turned on.
others you may have to bring up the configuation menu and read it or print
out a configuration report.

If you know the subnet it is on, you can do a port scan on that subnet
for port 515.
