finding my post

I posted a question around the 15th of this month. I can not find my post now. I can find the ones that were there just before my post but now am unable to find mine. Can I search for a post by my name. I know there is a link on each post that allows you to search for other posts by the same author however I have to find my post first. I used a different display name when I posted it. I am having trouble when I try to publish my web to a local file or CD. Frontpage closes on me when I try to publish to myHD or CD. I have also noticed that when I click on the hyperlink check on the left side or the reports icon Frontpage also closes. I uninstalled Frontpage and reinstalled it but this did not cure my problems. Anyone have any idea. Sorry if you are having to answer this twice. Thanks soooo much.
 
HI! one thing you can do perhaps if your using outlook express is in the
view menu go to current view then click on "show replies to my messages"

1: the next things is what platform are you using? w98.w2k pro, ect...
2: what version of FP are you using?
3: did you try disable all other running background programs such as
anti-spyware or Norton internet security, memory enhancers, ect...
4: are you using a modem or is it a DSL connection?

If its crashing like that its because something is really wrong. there could
be many reasons for it. try to narrow it down as much as possible. if you
have a lot of other programs on your system that you are using frequently
and are working fine. then this could point to a conflict of the sort or FP
installation. I remember reading somewhere that uninstalling FP still leaves
stuff behind and must be manually removed.

Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
- Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and/or %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
- also clear your IE TIF folder if you don't do so regularly
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file hidden file CMDUI.PRF
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State
4) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
5) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
6) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
