Finding MAC address

I just installed a new NIC card and cannot find the MAC
address to set up my cable router/wireless access point.
I thought I had to click Start - Run - ipconfig, but all
I get is a very quick dos window popping up with nothing
in it and then going away quickly. I am running Windows
XP Home. I have had a network set up successfully using
the router/wireless access point, but my cable company
came out and set me up with a USB connected modem because
my old ethernet card quit working. I have replaced the
ethernet card, and hooked the modem up using an ethernet
cable and can connect to the internet.

try going to start-run-type in cmd, at the command prompt
type ipconfig /all. this should give you the info you need

Hi,

Go to Start - Run and type "cmd" this will open a command window. In the
command window type "ipconfig /all" and you will be able to find your mac
address.
