Hello All,
I have a machine in my domain that should not be there. I also do not
have access as domain Admin to get into it?
Any ideas?
TIA,
Altria

If the computer is "in your domain" a Domain Admin account should have
sufficient access to view the computer. If, rather, you mean "Someone has
brought a PC in from outside our domain and connected it to our network"
then I would suggest auditing the DHCP and DNS logs to find the IP address
of the miscreant and tracking it down

This could be a laptop that one of your users have brought from home. You
can prevent this by getting a managed switch. I had this issue with sales
people in my domain and i put in a managed switch to prevent unuathorized
computers on my network.

Hope this Helps
