I am trying folders called "windows.inf " in VISTA in order to locate files
OEMxx.inf where xx means 01. 02. etc.
I opened "my Computer", right clicked on Drive C but I am unable to find the
said folders or the files OEMxx.inf.

Can anybody help please as I am not very familiar with uptodate technology
when it come to computers.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Richard

I had no trouble finding the mentioned files in my computer.

Open the Windows folder in drive C:
There you can find a folder called "inf", open it.
If you scroll down you should be able to find the files you described,
OEM01.inf, etc.

Hi,

Hit winkey+d to open windows explorer, click in the address bar, type
C:\Windows\Inf and it should open to this folder.

You may need to go to Organize\Folder and Search Options and on the View tab
change the options so you can see hidden and system folders in order to see
the contents of this folder.
