Hi al
I don't know if I need a sumif or a sumproduct formula or how this should be written..
I need to find conflicts on a spreadsheet where companies have booked the same item and destination on the same day
Each day is a column - eg M12:M410 where the users enter a "1" to represent the booking for a row of details
The formula will sit at the bottom of that days column (eg formula cell = M411 checking activity for M12:M410)
Range A12:A410 is the item and destination - I have concatenated this information into one string from 2 other fields (B12:B410 was the item and H12:H410 was the destination), not sure if that was necessary
Range E12:E410 is the company names (user nominates one of five
The formula needs to give me either the number of times the conflict occurs on that day or a "True" or "False" answer which I will then conditional format to highlight
Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks muchl
