I have some databases where the xxx.FINDFIRST method works
fine and some where it gives the message "method or data
member not found"!
References look the same. I can't see any differences in
the way the databases are setup. The Refrences look the
same. I'd be thankful for any clues.

FindFirst is a DAO method, and does not exist on ADO recordsets.
