Can anyone tell me why this problem happens. I have
uninstalled and re-installed Office 2000 3 times, using
both the easy install and setting all thge criterion
myself, but each time the same thing happens. Please read
the following:
Problem with MS Access
Procedure
1. Load access
2. Click on A New Database
3. Named the database and clicked on "Create"
4. Click on "Tables", then on "New"
5. A box appears called "New Table"
6. Select the option, "Design View" and press "OK"
7. Type in the headings in the table
8. Once done, click on the "X" in this box to close
9. When asked if to save, click on "Yes"
10. A "Save As" box appears, type the name of the
table and click on "OK"
11. Another box appears, asking if to define a Primary
Key, click on "NO"
12. Repeat process from 4 - 11
13. Open Excel spreadsheet containing data required
for inclusion into the Tables
14. Copy and paste data into the Tables
15. Click on "Queries", then on "New
"
16. When asked what type of query, click on "Find
unmatched" query wizard, then click "OK"
At this point the program freezes.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
