Find Toolbar in Outlook Contacts

We just recently upgraded our Exchange
from 5.5 to 2003, but since only a handful of users actually use the Find
command for Contacts, we don't know if the problem occurred before or after
the upgrade. And, we are using both Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2003, both with
various version levels of service packs, and it happens with all. I can open
my Contacts folder, click the Find button at the top, and type just the
letter "E". It will only find half of the Contacts that have the letter "E"
in their name or Company name. If I put in a full last name or something, it
won't find anything at all. But, I can search for messages in the same way
under the Inbox and the Find feature works great. What's the deal???

Are the people it doesn't find the people who don't have email addresses?

No, that was one of the things I originally checked. If varies, some
Contacts have e-mail addresses, some have phone numbers, some have company
names. It just really doesn't seem like it matters. It just finds some, and
doesn't find others, but that's only if you put like 1 letter in the Find
box. If you put a whole name in there, it doesn't find anything. I replied
to another user further down the list that was having the same issue, but
haven't seen a response yet.
