This sentence is very hard to understand. What are you looking for?

when we try the command stated with windows xp newsgroup
we are able to see all kind of information in the
windowsxp newsgroup by autor date subject etc is there
anyway to search this same matter for the excel
newsgroups try the bottom link see how nice it displays
with sorting options etc

I suspect you are referring to the link to add the newsgroup to
Outlook Express supplied on the Windows Community page?

The link will add the MS News server to OE and add the group
referenced in the link. If you want to subscribe to other newsgroups
then go to Tools/Newsgroups to obtain a full list of all newsgroups.

To add this newsgroup then click the following link:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.newusers

Thank you this helped alot, but is there anyway to searc
the coplete newsgroup from without having to select
specific category like new user or setup or configuration
etc but searching all word newsgroups at one shot for
specific author or subject

Are you referring to the web interface?

If so, then you can select "Word" from the drop-down list to search
all Word newsgroups.

I personally use Google Groups Advanced group search to search the
newsgroups:

To search more than one NG, you might find Google Groups more helpful.
