Hi,
I solved similar problem by choosing the correct reference.
From Excel Alt+F11 (starts VBEditor), Tools, Refferences.
Compare the references with the analogical in the working
computers.

Hi,

I was looking for a Excel VBA forum but didnt find
any here. So, I am posting my query in this forum.
I have an Excel VBA application that has run into
trouble in one particular user's PC. The program fails at
a point where I am doing a recordset.find and the error
is "Invalid use of object". If I type in
err.desc/err.number in the immediate window, there are no
errors, but if I let the program execute, it throws
the "Invalid use of object" message. The recordset has
records. This app is working fine on all PCs except this
one.

Hi Nikolay
I did compare all the references, etc. And they are correct.

Could this have something to do with ADO itself? Myabe I need to re-install MDAC

Rgds...
