Find Message slowness

I was wondering why Find Message, when used to search in the Subject field
(for newsgroups), is considerably slower than OE in XP. It's apparently not
indexed, but then I don't want newsgroup messages to be indexed -- and OE
wasn't indexed anyway, so it shouldn't be necessary to be quick.
 
Do you know if this is something addressed in the upcoming Live Mail Desktop
(or whatever its current name)?
