I like to do the opposite of finding Duplicates, namely finding images I
have stored on 2 different drives.

Is there a way to do this?

You can go to...Start / Search / Pictures /
Use Advanced Options....

You will have several options that should
aid you in finding your image files.

Click on Start, click on Search, click on Pictures, Music or Video. A window
will open. Click on Pictures and Photos. For part of the file name, type
exactly this in the box:
*.jpg
and click search.
This will display thumbnails of all photo files on your computer.

I went there but see nothing that would accomplish
that. Can you be specific? Thanks

You have options to search for pictures by:

File name..... entering *.jpg , for example,
will find all the .jpg files on the target drive/s.

Words or phrases: "summer at the lake"

Choose the drive/s you wish to search.

Also, you can search by:

Modification date, Image size, and Hidden
folders, etc.

I guess I don't know what else you could want.

John, I know what you say.

It is, that I do not know what is on the second harddrive in pictures. I
have 3 - 4 harddrives all have digital images on them and I am trying to
find a way (maybe there is none) where I can select only those which are NOT
presently on my C:\ drive or the E: drive (external disk)

Ok...so is the goal of this project to assemble one
complete image collection that has no duplicates?

Could you choose one central drive or partition to
save the images to? What if you search each drive...
one at the time for *.jpg...then do a...Select All / Copy.
And paste copies of the files in the destination folder?
When it says "Do you wish to replace the existing
file with this one" say "yes to all". Now, assuming
all your image files have unique names...you will
have one copy of each image in the destination
folder.

Otherwise...maybe viewing the thumbs is the
best bet.
