Isn't there some way in AccessBasic to open an explorer browser to locate a
file or folder on a harddrive?

I had posted a similar question earlier, All answers point to the link
indicated. Somehow I am not grasping the answer or how it works. I have
Access 2003, and I have to be missing something here. There has to be more
than just coping that testit() into a module. I clicked on modules and then
clicked on new, then I pasted the testit into that module and called the
module testit when I saved it. Now how do I get that to work? I have also
pasted it into a visualbasic and just tried to run it and it tells me that
only comments can follow the end of a function and it throws errors. What am
I doing wrong here, I have to be missing some step somewhere

My apologies to the group... I got it figured out finally. Something was
mistyped and it was throwing out the errors. It is working fine.

Could you let me know what was mistyped? I have copied and pasted that code
several times and it continually gives me the "comments" error that you got
and it won't run. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this code to run?
