I am currently running XP Home and about a week ago, I had
gotten the Dust or Duster virus. I used McAfree ViruScan
with the latest updates to clean and delete any infected
files, but now everytime I restart Windows I get an error
message saying that there was an error trying to Find
Dust.exe because the file could not be located. Can some
help me cure this most annoying message?

Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
Type regedit
Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)
Navigate to the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Run

In the right pane, delete the value:
dust.exe
Exit the Registry Editor.

The other file is a legit windows file, the email to delete it is a hoax,
but deleteing it has no effect on your machine unless you develop java
applications, so it is not the reason for your probs. Clean the virus and
see it that helps.
