FIND.exe where is it?

I downloaded this recently but I got a new computer and now dont know where
I got it from. I really like it very much.
Can someone please help with url for -- find.exe?

Find.exe is such a generic name that is likely to be umpteen different
little programs
written by umpteen different authors. Just *what* was your Find.exe program
supposed
to do? Windows comes with a program called Find.exe and it is located in
your
Windows\Command or Windows\System32 folder .. depending upon which version
of Windows we're dealing with. In my estimation, this particular Find.exe
is a misnomer,
and should rather have been called Search, because it looks for text-strings
within any
program .. and it is particularly cumbersome to use in that respect.

On the other hand, there exists a program called CHUNT.EXE, which really
should
be called Find.exe ... because it magically, effortlessly 'finds' any files
on your computer
which contains the text-string you provide, and it lists such found files
with a complete
path. Now, another file called Text Search and Print v.2.19, (which I
shortened to
merely Search.exe) will search the internals of ANY file for a text string
you provide,
and it also provides such list of all "finds' with a path to where found.
Your USER.DAT
file contains marvelous stuff you never dreamed would be there.

Both the above files are DOS, but they work in ME and XP DOS windows. Both
found
at SIMTEL.

It was part of Powerdesk 4, it would have been originally intended to
work alongside that program. It's similar to someone distributing
windows ME defrag on it's own, and then you are saying the name defrag
is too generic just as that happens to be the name of the executable
file. Nice utility though.

I like find.exe very much, but there is a problem searching by date.
Keeps reverting to 1980.
