I "driver" is the information that your computer uses to
operate a piece of hardware on your computer. You can
locate most drivers from the manufacturer.
i.e. For HP Printers, go to HP's web address. Most sites
will have a link to drivers. Keep in mind that drivers
are specific to both the device you want to operate and
the Operating System that you plan to install it on.
Try doing a search for "windows drivers"
For example: WindowsXP driver files won't work on
Window95/98
Most devices purchased new will have the driver files
located on the installation CD that came with it.
