I basically want to click on the FIND button, but i want the Search Only
Current Field graded out, so you cannot click on to it. I want the find
button to find anything in any field.

Please Help, I do not know if this can be done in a macro or you would have
to put in a Visual basic sode in.

Please explain in a simple step, thanks.

You don't say what version of Access you're using, but the current "Find"
dialog is somewhat different (but works largely the same). This dialog is a
common class built in to the Access interface, and I'm not aware of anyway
to control the display or function, short of writing your own DLL common
dialog.

BTW, searching on every thing in every control is VERY slow; is this really
what you want? Can't users decide for themselves, what to find and where to
look? Using a query with criteria in every field of: Like "*" , will
achieve the same results that you want.
