Find and Replace window not visible

When I click Find or type cntrl-F, the associated window
kept inching up my screen until it was no longer visible.

Does anyone know how to "retrieve" this window that is off
the screen? I've tried re-installing FrontPage, but it
doesn't seem to uninstall completely and I keep getting
the same problem. The reason I think it's not uninstalling
completely is because after "reinstallation" the program
is maintaining my old settings.

Using Windows 2000 and FrontPage 2002.

Thanks.
Trish

Trish:
With FrontPage closed, find and delete the cmdui.prf file for FrontPage -
this is the file that stores your customizations and preferences for the
FrontPage Menu and it will get rebuilt, using the defaults, the next time
you start FrontPage.

This file cannot be found on my computer.

Also - will deleting that file help the missing Find and
Replace window appear on the screen?? That's my biggest
concern.

Thank you.
