I burned a couple of DVD's and got the message that the disc was not
recognized. I am told that I must finalize my DVD. How do I do that?

You should see a box you can check
before the burn begins...mine says...
"Allow files to be added later (multisession disc)"
If I do not check it...the disk is closed
after the burn.

Another reason for the disk not being
recognized could be that you may have
used the wrong media. Check the
documentation for your DVD burner and
player and see which type of media is
supported. DVD-R / DVD-RW /
DVD+R / DVD+RW ??

I once was told the same thing. So how does one finalise a DVD that has
already been written as a multisession file ?

Re-open it and burn one more file
with the same software...and be sure
to uncheck the correct box.
