John

Hi,

I'm been playing Final Fantasy and my computer keeps
resetting itself. The error message indicates that I
should download patch KB833846. I follow the directions
to find this patch, but it's not listed. Can anyone help?
Thanks, John

Well since it's on about updating the Realtek drivers, I'd check here and
download and install the latest drivers for your soundcard (if it is a
Realtek - hopefully it is!):

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads.aspx

If you need to check exactly what soundcard is in your machine...

Right click on 'My Computer' on the Start Menu and click Properties
--Click the Hardware tab, and then Device Manager
---Expand 'Sound, video and game controllers' which should show your
soundcard, you may have to click properties on it to get more info on model
etc if it's not displayed in the name.
