Hi,

i have found (fortunately during the testing phase) that after some
months an image was in use, the password to log on to the XP embedded
system expired and the user was prompted to change it. This should
never happen in production (the system has a touch screen and i use
autologon to avoid any user interraction during the logon process). OK,
I searched this group and fixed that "problem". The question i have
now is: are there any other similar "problems" that become visible only
after the image is in use some time (months, years) and which are not
visible e.g. after the first month of its use?

Thanks

That one caught me too. I've yet to notice anything else, and I've been
working with XPe for a few years now...

Very hard to say. I also dealt with this password expire problem. Some
settings you make in TD seems to be not imported/changed in the ready
image, expecially after resealing it(!).
One other point for me has been the screen saver settings (switch to
presentation).
Nothing else by now...

A general problem is including ewf-ram-protected images in a nt-domain.
The PDC wants to store a new key every week in the system. The system
acknowlegdes the key changing but, ob course, forgets all about it after
shutting down...
