Hi, Is there a way to hide duplicate rows beginning with
same words in column A so that only unique rows are
shown? E.g rows with initial a, a, b, c will result in a,
b, c rows only.

You can use Data>Filter>Advanced Filter.

"Filter the list, in place" or "copy to a new location" and "Unique records
only"
