Hi Madiya

You will need to use a helper column to achieve this.
Assuming your dates are in column A, with a header in A1, in another column
enter
=WEEKDAY(A2)
Now apply the filter to that new column choosing 6, and you will have all of
the rows with a Saturday date.

Dear Madiya,

I f you can change the number format of the column then easily you can
do what you want.

Step 1:From Excel Options-->Advanced-->Uncheck the Group Dates Auto
Filter menu

Step 2:Change the Number format .Select Format cells from right click--
In the number tab go to Custom and type dddd in edit box.

This will show all the date in Weekday (ie Sunday,Monday).then you can
filter.

Both solutions worked.
Thanks a ton to both of you.
