_SALLY,

FilterKeys will ignore brief or repeated keystrokes, or slow the repeat
rate. Your issue seems to be with something like a permanent StickyKeys

Sally...

I am having the same problem as you...and not only
that...the mouse then acts up...anything I click on
causes everything in front of it to be selected...then it
juse goes away like now....instead of .... I get >>>> but
when I came into this forum....they turned themselves
off....if you get an answer to this...my email is
(e-mail address removed)....

Best Regards,

Vincent

Control Panel> Accessbilities Option. For each keyboard feature that you do
not want to use:
* Uncheck the box next "Use <Sticky, Filter, Toggle>Keys
* Click the Settings button and uncheck the box that allows the keyboard
shortcut.
