I posted this in another Excel forum as well, but it has to go through
a moderator, and I'm trying to get a quick response.

Thanks in advance expert who can fix this for me!!!

I have an Excel document that has thousands of records, and each
record has a message displayed on the row following the record's
information. i.e.:

Record - SPR Office_Loc
123456 GR_WEA
234567
Message- From SKU is already in an existing linkage SPR
Record - SPR Office_Loc
654321 GR_WEA
765432
Mesage - Link is already active
Record - SPR Office_Loc
852963 GR_WEA
369258
Message - Link is already active

What I need to do is find all records that have a message stating
"From SKU is already in an existing linkage SPR", and show me the
associated record line. I am very new to Excel, and know how to auto
filter, but if I filter by this criteria, it only shows me the message
line, when I really need the Record line instead. Can anybody help
me? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to tell from your layout where blank cells are located.

Assuming 234567 is is A3 and B3 is blank.

Select all of B column and F5>Special>Blanks>OK

In active blank cell enter an = sign

Arrow to or click on cell below and hit CTRL + ENTER.

Select column B and Edit>Paste Special>Values>OK>Esc

Filter on column B for From etc.
