Change the View to Icons (or Tiles or List or Details) then hold down Shift key and
change the view back to Filmstrip .

Good Luck, Ayush.

Right click the folder, select properties. Go to customize. Select either
the pictures or photo album option.

You must have common tasks enabled to use the filmstrip view. If you
switched to classic view it is not an option.

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

The filmstrip view is working fine. The pictures within the folder are also
showing the filenames fine. The filenames for each folder under My Pictures
are not showing the filename(in this instance, it is a date the pictures were
loaded)

Thanks, Ayush... That worked!!!!
