When I download a 10 second film clip it only shows for about 1 second and the screen goes black but the sound still plays. I go to my D drive that has 98SE and it plays the whole clip.
I had this same problem. If you are using wmp9 go to
options and click on the performance tab. Choose the
advance option for video acceleration and uncheck video
overlay. Hope this works for you.
