Word "Filling in blanks" in a Word doc

I need to fill in the blanks in a Word doc form that was emailed to me, but when I tab to each field I am unable to type in the box.

It appeats that the doc is in design mode.

I've never had trouble filling in the blanks on forms before.

I am using Windows 2000, Word 2003.

Can you suggest a solution?

Can you copy the form into Word itself?


If so, you may be able to then fill in the blanks there and then email the edited form back to the sender.
