I have created a form, both in Word and Excel, but I do
not know how to format it so that when you hit the tab
button it will take you thru all of the blanks that need
to be filled in. Please advise how this can be done.

Hi Patty

are we talking about UserForms here created in the VB editor with controls &
code behind them or in Word - forms created using the forms toolbar to get
your check boxes & text fields etc (i guess you can do the same in excel -
never tried it though)

If its the former then they should tab through automatically, you can change
the order by setting the tab index property of each control - if its the
later the document (word) or worksheet (excel) needs to be protected (tools
/ protection )

Hi

One way is to lock all of the other cells and protect the sheet. This means
that the users can only enter information into the unlocked cells, and tab
will take them only to these cells.

Andy.
