Hi folks, me again.

OK I have the following formula:

=B1-Sheet3!B1

Simple enough. What I want to do
is to fill down the column with
that formula, but for only the
first reference to incriment, like
the following:

=B1-Sheet3!B1
=B2-Sheet3!B1
=B3-Sheet3!B1
=B4-Sheet3!B1
=B5-Sheet3!B1

How can I tell it not to incriment
the second variable?

I'm sure I've seen someone do it
before, perhaps with some odd
character or punctuation mark, but
I really don't recall.

So, any light on this?

Thanks!

Andrew

Thanks Bob, I knew it had to be something simple, and
I think I even tried $ but I had it before the B, not
after it. Also, looking up $ in the help didn't seem
to offer me anything relevant.

Thanks again,

Andrew
