fill up the page

Is there any way to auto-adjust the Detail section to fill in the available
space on a page? I have fields that 'can grow', so it's difficult to guess
how large any one detail section is. I have some pages that might fill in
great and others that look like 10% of the detail wouldn't fit so it jumped
to the next page. Headers and footers are static. Asking for too much from
Access reports?

thanks!

What do you expect this "auto-adjust" to do?

From what you posted, it seems like all you want to do is
set the detail section's KeepTogether property to No,

No, I want the detail to Keep Together, but auto-adjust the detail height on
that page to fill up the page. Assuming a possible 9" paper space for
repeating detail sections. Assume 4 records, i.e. 4 details. Assume each
detail height is 2". You have a 1" blank space. It'd look better if each
detail increased height automatically to 2.25". And when you get a mix of
detail heights, it'd look better if all were adjusted to be consistant.

thanks!
