fill in latest date

I have a report that list all the training each staff has taken. Some of the training is mandatory. What I need is for each mandatory training field I have that it will fill in the latest date of that training. How do I do this

Without your explaining what data you have and how you have structured its
storage in your application, it'll be really difficult for anyone to give
you worthwhile advice. Please clarify.
