Hi

I've turned off all the extra Graphics in XP:

Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Performance>settings>Adjust
for best performance.

Unfortunately it removes the Filmsrip view option from My Pictures.

Which one do I need to reselect to get it back?

Thanks

Dave F.

Adjust for best performance turns Common Tasks off, keep reading.

Open folder | View | Customize This Folder | Select Pictures or Photo Album

You can view your pictures as a filmstrip in any My Pictures subfolder or
any folder customized as a pictures folder.

Filmstrip view is available in picture folders. Your pictures appear in a
single row of thumbnail images. You can scroll through your pictures using
the left and right arrow buttons. If you click a picture, it is displayed as
a larger image above the other pictures. To edit, print, or save the image
to another folder, double-click the picture.
-----

This issue can occur because the Filmstrip feature requires that Show common
tasks in folders be selected to view the full functionality.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, select Show common tasks in folder:
1. Double-click the My Computer icon.
2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
3. On the General tab, click Show common tasks in folder under Tasks.
4. Click OK.

Common Tasks can also be turned on:

Right click My Computer | Properties |
Advanced tab | Settings button under Performance |
Visual Effects tab | Custom | Select: Use common tasks in folders only.
