Hi, i keep getting a message on my screen ( somthing i may have d/l ) that i now have unrecognised files on my p
and may cause my pc to malfunction, and to insert my home edition xp disc ( which i dont have ) only the discs that came with my pc is the restore discs for e machines any idea of how to sort this out ? cheers Murdo
 
Go to run and type : sfc /scannow (note space between c and /). This will
repair or replace system files. Insert your restore disk when prompted (I
think a restore disk will work for this procedure) . Jym
