Hi
I'm trying to import a file and it says that it's not indexed. I tried to
change the file typebut:
1. I don't know how
2. I'm sure it wouldn't work

Please help!

Where do I find the encoder?

Software page of the site.

Papajohn,
I have done everything you suggested. I have opened the wmv file with the
media file manager, downloaded the most currect version of windows media
player, and read the instructions on your site. I still get the "file not
indexed" message when I try to import as a collection in movie maker. When I
try to save using the media file manager, I just get "failed to save". Any
other ideas?

Can you try opening it with MM1, TMPGEnc, MovieXone, etc. If you open it
with any app, you can resave it as a new file.
