Dottye Miller

I'm having problems with some files that have been
changed. I do not know how they got changed but I am
recieving a message that tells me that some of my files
have been changed and I need to put in the XP cd and
replace them with the original files. But when I do that
I am at a loss as to what to do next. It tells me that
my system is unstable as long as thes files are not
replaced. I sure hope someone can help me.

Hi,

Click start/run and type in SFC /SCANNOW
Insert the original XP CD when prompted.
You may need to click the "next" button on the dialog windows several times to complete the scan.
