Hello All

I have a Windows 2000 Advance Server. The server has some
files that have spaces at the start of the file and
Windows will not allow me to remove them, take ownership
of them. It looks like they were placed on the server by
a user that has a MAC laptop. The file names are ._
Xicons.com and Xicons.com the second one has a space at
the start of the file.

Has anyone ever run into this problem before?

How can I get rid of the files.

Nope.

How can I get rid of the files.

Run del in a CMD-window and put the filename (including the space) between
quotes. Eg. DEL " Xicons.com". Works perfect !
