We have several test stations running in our QC area that save data to
the Windows 2000 server. Sometimes after running the program we cannot go
back into the application and run another test because the files are not
closing properly. The systems are only suppose to open the file when it's
time ot write the data and then close it immediately after.
I have seen this with other files as well. If I go into the server to
check the Open Files they might still be open hours later and the only way I
can get the program to run is to actually tell the server to "Close Open
File". Is there a setting somewhere that I can check to force an update of
files actually in use and close the ones that are not?
Thanks
